About Us
The Glendale Bulldogs are going into their 17th season of some of the best semi-pro football in the State. They began as one of the first teams in the Arizona Football League (AzFL) and are now proud members of the Copper State Football League (CSFL) a league that is going into its 8th year. The Bulldogs have had a variety of coaches and owners over the years. Starting in 2001 head coach/owner Kelly Kinion took control of the Bulldogs. Since this time the team has established itself with hard hitting, hard working with a desire to become better year after year.
The team has accomplished many things on and off the field that Team Owner/Coach Kelly Kinion is very proud of. Since joining the CSFL, the Bulldogs have been a big part of raising thousands of dollars for kids with cancer. The team assisted the league in raising over $15,000 over the last 7 years which has gone directly to the families to help defer the enormous costs associated with the medical bills associated with cancer. They have also been a part of putting over twice that amount back into local high school athletics. In 2007 thru 2009 the Bulldogs were in charge of the charity event & Coach Kinion went to the Ronald McDonald house and took a tour of the facilities as they were one of the finalist for the benefit games. At that moment it was a done deal, we felt if we could be a part of helping these families cope with their costs associated with staying in a facility like this it would be something we would all be proud of.
On the field, over the last 7 years, the team has played to an impressive 65-32 record and has won the State Championship Title two of those years. The team is getting set for an exciting new year in 2010 and the destiny is The State Championship Title. The Bulldogs will be setting some high goals and with the proper commitment they won’t be stopped. We invite you to come out and watch, it will be very exciting!
